The PMS we supply has many interface modules that will integrate with your phone, voicemail, restaurant POS, key locks, minibar, internet access, energy management, accounts packages and central reservation systems. Checking in a guest can automatically open the telephone, clear the voicemail, change the voicemail to a guest’s native language and create a room key card.

One way interfaces typically post charges onto guest folios. Bi-Directional interfaces, in addition to posting charges onto guest folios can also open/close phones, monitor wake up calls etc.

Telephones and Voice Mail interface

Can accept call data from your telephone system, price the outgoing calls and charge them either to guest bedrooms or track and report the calls that are made by internal departments
Can cost calls based on the duration of the call and the number dialled.
With certain telephone systems, it will also allow for barring/unbarring of guest phones on check-in/out, enable guest name display on phones and housekeepers can update their room statuses from guest phones.
Interfacing to a voice mail system clears out old messages on check in

In room Movies interface

When interfacing to an in-room entertainment system such as Quadriga, Otrum or VDA, the interface :

Will turn the system on/off on check-in/out
Will charge guests for ‘pay movies’.
Controls can be placed on check in which could prevent pay movies from being seen
Will enable the guest folio to be displayed on TV

Point of Sale & Spa Systems interface

A link between the PMS and many external POS systems will allows guests to bill POS charges directly to their room account

Keylocks interface

The PMS will automatically create room keys during the check in process. The Keylocks Interface will then automatically send all of the necessary information to the key encoder and prompt clerks to insert keys into the encoder. This ensures a perfect key for every guest, every time. Other powerful features include:
 
Place up to three rooms on every key, allowing parents to have access to their children’s rooms on their own key.
Automatically select additional authorisations on each key for other hotel facilities, such as sauna, pool, exercise room, or in-room safe.
Quick single-use key encoding for maintenance or showing rooms.
Seamlessly works with the Point of Sale system we supply so any guest key card can be swiped at the POS for quick bill-to-room.
